Dzambhala is the deity of fortune and wealth and a member of the Jewel family. Dzambhala, strictly speaking, is not a single deity but rather a class of deities or a principle. Different Dzambhala forms are described as expressions of one of the five Buddha families, which places them fairly close to the fully-fledged meditational deities (yidams) that are used to attain enlightenment.
